At Aquamayne Swim Academy, safety is not a feature — it is the foundation of everything we do. These policies are designed to protect your child, respect every family’s time, and ensure that each lesson is focused, structured, and effective. Our goal is simple: create confident, capable swimmers through discipline, consistency, and trust. Please take a few minutes to read through everything below — it will ensure the best possible experience for your child. If you have any questions, we’re always a phone call away.
1. Who We Teach
We welcome swimmers ages 4 and up, all the way through adults. Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or you’re an adult who has always wanted to learn — you belong here. It is never too late.
All students must be fully potty trained and able to go without pull-ups or diapers during the day before starting lessons. This is a non-negotiable health and safety requirement for everyone in the pool.
Before your child’s first lesson, please let us know about any medical conditions, physical limitations, or allergies we should be aware of. You can reach us at [email protected] or (951) 394-3970. The more we know, the better we can take care of your child.
2. Our Lessons
Every lesson at Aquamayne is private and one-on-one. Your child receives the instructor’s full, undivided attention every single session — no groups, no distractions.
Sessions are 15 minutes long. This is intentional. Research in aquatic education — and the methodology behind elite programs like ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) — consistently shows that short, highly focused sessions produce faster skill retention in young swimmers than longer, less concentrated ones. Every minute is structured for maximum focus and progress. You will see results. While we are confident in our process, individual progress may vary based on consistency, participation, and the student’s comfort level in the water.
All lessons take place at our private heated pool in Murrieta, CA. We maintain a calm, controlled learning environment so that your child can focus entirely on building skills and confidence.
Packages may be shared among siblings. Each lesson counts as one session regardless of which child attends that day.
3. Scheduling & Arrival
Lessons are booked through our online calendar after payment is completed. You may not reserve a time slot before payment has been processed.
A parent or guardian must be present at all times during lessons for any student under 18. If no guardian is present, the instructor reserves the right to cancel the session. The lesson will still be charged.
Please arrive on time. Lessons end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival time, to ensure fairness to all families. Late arrivals do not extend the session. If another student is booked immediately after your slot, only the remaining time in your window can be provided.
What to bring: a swimsuit, a towel, and goggles if you have them. Goggles are recommended but not required for beginners.
4. Cancellations & Make-Up Lessons
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full and counted as a completed lesson.
Make-up lessons are not guaranteed, but when proper notice is given and an open slot is available, we will always do our best to accommodate you. Getting your child back in the water is our goal too.
If we ever cancel on you for any reason, a make-up lesson will be provided at no charge.
Lessons continue during light rain. If lightning or thunder is present, the lesson ends immediately — no exceptions. Weather cancellations always receive a free make-up lesson.
5. Payments & Refunds
Full payment is required before any lesson slots can be booked. All sales are final. By purchasing lessons or packages, you acknowledge and agree to all policies listed in this document.
We do not offer cash refunds for unused lessons. Unused lessons are credited to your account and never expire as long as you remain an active client.
Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on the same date each month. A minimum of two billing cycles is required at signup. To cancel, written notice must be received at least 10 calendar days before your next billing date. Cancellations received after that window will result in one additional month being charged — no exceptions.
If you cancel a subscription, all unused lessons must be used within 30 days of your final payment. Lessons not used within that period will be forfeited.
6. Pool Rules & Safety
We run a disciplined, respectful pool deck. Every rule below exists for a reason — the safety and experience of your child and every other student we serve.
7. Liability Waiver
Swimming is a physical activity and carries inherent risks, including serious injury. By enrolling in lessons at Aquamayne Swim Academy, you acknowledge those risks and agree to hold Aquamayne Swim Academy, its owner, and its instructors harmless from any injury or accident that may occur during lessons or while on the premises.
In the event of a medical emergency during a lesson, you authorize Aquamayne Swim Academy to seek emergency medical care for your child, and you agree to be responsible for any associated costs.
You confirm that all known medical conditions, physical limitations, and health concerns have been disclosed prior to the first lesson.
We take safety more seriously than most. Every precaution is taken. This waiver is standard — and essential.

8. Photography & Media Release
Aquamayne Swim Academy may occasionally photograph or record lessons for use on our website, social media, or for training purposes. By enrolling, you grant us permission to use images of your child for those purposes.
If you prefer we do not photograph your child, simply let us know in writing at [email protected]. We will note it on your account immediately.
Parents wishing to photograph or video their own child’s lesson must request permission from the instructor beforehand. Photography that captures other students in the frame is not permitted without their guardian’s consent.
9. Privacy Policy

We do not sell, share, or distribute personal information to any third party. Questions about your information can be directed to [email protected].
By booking lessons with Aquamayne Swim Academy, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies above. We appreciate you taking the time — it makes the experience better for your family and for every family we serve.
