Nathaniel Jimerson spent over two decades serving the people of California — first as a United States Marine, where he completed the Marine Combat Instructor of Water Survival course, and later as a California Highway Patrol officer. After retiring from the CHP, he wanted to find a way to keep giving back to the community he had spent his career protecting.
Nathaniel is an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Licensed Training Provider. But more than the certifications, what he brings to every lesson is a genuine belief that knowing how to swim — and knowing how to be safe in the water — is one of the most important things a child can learn. He has seen firsthand what happens when people are not prepared around water. He teaches so that families in Murrieta, Temecula, Winchester, French Valley, Menifee, and across Southwest Riverside County don’t have to find out the hard way.
His approach is patient, structured, and safety-first. Whether he’s working with a four-year-old who is nervous to put their face in the water or an adult who never learned to swim, Nathaniel meets every student exactly where they are and builds from there. Lessons are private, one-on-one, and completely tailored to each swimmer’s pace and goals.
When you bring your child to Aquamayne, you’re not just hiring a swim instructor. You’re working with someone who has spent a career making sure people go home safe.
